O. C. Jones & Sons, Inc., founded in 1924 by Olin Clement Jones, began as a small concrete placing firm in Berkeley, California. Olin specialized in transporting and placing a new product, later to be known as ready-mixed concrete. Following WWII, Olin was joined by his sons, Harold and Robert, and the company expanded into new market segments and increased its geographical reach. Today, O.C. Jones is consistently recognized as a leading heavy construction contractor and builder of athletic fields in the Bay Area. From miles of highway to commercial site development to airport runways - O.C. Jones continues to be a critical player in California transportation projects.
