Founded in 1981, International Child Resource Institute is a social services organization that serves children and families worldwide. It offers services related to child care and education; child abuse prevention; maternal and child health; placement alternatives for abandoned and traumatized children; and promotion of children s rights. The organization provides children- and family-related services, including facility development, resource development and fund allocation, program evaluation and modification studies, child care assessment and legislative and planning support. International Child Resource Institute serves the Contra Costa Public Works Department, World Health Organization, Sonoma County Children and Families Commission, Sonoma County Child Care Planning Council, Santa Clara Child Care Planning Council, Good Samaritan Hospital and Teacher s Insurance Trust of New York City. It is located in Berkeley, Calif.
