Based in Beresford, S.D., Southeast Area Cooperative is a cooperative educational service unit providing educational opportunities for students across member school districts. It is legal entity offering a range of educational services that school districts are unable to provide acting alone. The cooperative offers Aspire High Alternative School for eligible students to complete high school education, apart from services, such as distance learning, Medicaid billing services, occupational and physical therapy services, preschool services to children with disabilities, speech/language services and more. Additionally, Southeast Area Cooperative offers special education teachers for autism, speech pathologists and school psychologists for autistic children.
