Bennington Junior-Senior High School provides academic and social education to more than 450 students in grades 7 through 12. The school offers various athletic activities, such as cross-country, basketball, softball, football, baseball, volleyball, and track and field. The school s core curriculum includes English, computer applications, foreign languages, health and physical education, science, social studies and math. Its elective subjects include arts and humanities, accounting, business and technology education, and family and consumer science. The school operates a counseling department that offers information on scholarship opportunities, graduation requirements and career planning. It also maintains a library that provides a variety of books, magazines and reference materials for classroom assignments and projects. The school is a part of Bennington Public Schools and is located in Bennington, Neb.
