My daughter started dancing with Stage One six years ago when she was five years old. Her teachers did an excellent job introducing her to dance and teaching her the fundamentals. They even took the time to get to know her as a dancer and focus on working with her in the areas they saw she could excel. We were both a bit reluctant when she was invited to join the competition team as she was an extremely shy and timid child. After receiving her second invitation she decided to join Mini Company and compete. She has been dancing competitively now for the past two years. The experience has been both challenging and rewarding. I know that her skills as a dancer and as a performer have grown exponentially as a result of being on the team. Thanks to the persistence of her instructors and the excellent training she is receiving she is blossoming into a beautiful dancer. More importantly for me, the support and encouragement she receives from her teachers.
