Summit High School, located in Bend, Ore., offers a wide variety of academic and extracurricular activities. It serves more than 1,000 students in grades nine through 12 and is operated by Bend Lapine Schools. The high school s academic curriculum includes technology and engineering, English, family and consumer studies, foreign languages, health and physical education, mathematics, science, social studies, and visual and performing arts. It provides a wide variety of athletic activities, such as football, cross country, soccer, volleyball, basketball, swimming, skiing, baseball, golf, softball, tennis and track. The high school also offers various recreational activities, including mountain biking, hiking, rafting, fishing, rock climbing, camping, snowmobiling and sightseeing. The high school s library has a large online database and offers a variety of books, magazines, journals and newspapers.
