Dr. Rafael completed his medical training at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, his residency in internal medicine at Emory University Hospital and his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Ohio State University Hospital.; When he's not working, Dr. Rafael enjoys running, traveling, spending time with his family and studying economics and the delivery of cost-effective health care.
