General Info
As a counselor my focus is on developing relationships that foster wholeness. I am not interested in diagnosing and treating symptoms. I help clients who are interested in going deeper into their humanity and discovering the richness that can be found in seeking wholeness. I work with youth, adults, and couples who are experiencing existential, spiritual, and/or relational problems. Shame, guilt, and fear are ways in which we are limited. When we come up against these limits we often begin to show signs of "mental illness". Unable to cope with the incongruity between the standards of society, family, or religion we and our relationships inevitably break down. I can only help others on their journey to the degree I have journeyed myself. Thus, I am committed to pursuing my own development. This is not only for my benefit but for those who journey into painful and unknown places where an experienced guide can offer understanding, and hope.
