- Carpal Tunnel SyndromeEMG or electromyography measures how well your muscles respond to signals from the brain in order to assess the health of your muscles and nerves. NCS or nerve conduction study measures how fast and how strong the electrical activity is in a nerve to determine whether a nerve has been damaged. These tests are often performed together and are helpful in diagnosing nerve problems such as carpal tunnel syndrome and neuromuscular diseases such as ALS.
- Multiple SclerosisDr. Laura Schaben comes to Bend Neurological Associates from the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Center of Oregon at Oregon Health & Science University where she served as instructor and post doctorate fellow in MS research and specialty care. Dr. Schaben is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the Consortium of MS Centers and has been awarded a Sylvia Lawry Physician Fellowship from the National MS Society.

- MRINeurology is the field of medicine devoted to conditions of the nervous system. This includes disorders of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. We are a full service neurology clinic, offering neurologic consultation, electromyography & nerve conduction studies, EEG (brainwave testing) and magnetic resonance imaging. Neurologists are not surgeons; therefore we do not perform operations. However, neurologists are expert in determining the appropriateness of surgical intervention for neurologic conditions.
- BotoxIn addition to providing general neurological care for all neurological conditions, Dr. Clark is also trained as a movement disorder specialist, meaning that he is a board-certified general neurologist with additional training in Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders. In addition to providing patients with general neurological care, he offers subspecialty treatment for patients with complex movement disorders and patients who require Botox for management of conditions such as dystonia/torticollis, spasticity, migraine headaches and blepharospasm. He also provides care for patients who are either interested in or have undergone deep brain stimulation for conditions including dystonia, tremor or Parkinson's disease.
