The Occupational Development Center is a community rehabilitation business that receives referrals for services from the Rehabilitation Services Branch of the Department of Economic Security and County Social Services. The company provides accredited programs for those experiencing employment challenges. It places many people with disabilities in various working environments, including cleaning, janitorial work, reception, office work, retail sales, product sorting, general labor and restaurant work. A few divisions offer habilitation and training services, a number of divisions offer in-facility work and all divisions offer community employment within area businesses. The Occupational Development Center is in Bemidji, Minn.
