The Beltrami County Sheriff s Office is a full-service law enforcement agency that operates various divisions, such as uniform patrol, criminal and fire investigations and drug interdiction units. It provides safety and security services for judges, counselors, inmates and the public assembled in the courtroom. The Beltrami County Sheriff s Office employs several field patrol deputies, criminal investigators, bailiffs, and civil process, communications, corrections and snowmobile patrol officers. It also employs records technicians and sentence-to-serve and emergency management personnel. In addition, the Beltrami County Sheriff s Office serves various writs, processes, orders, subpoenas and other civil papers for local courts and other counties and states. The department is located in Bemidji, Minn.
