      Family Heirlooms have always been a part of Doc's Upholstery & Refinishing Shop. We're a one stop service, that does repair, replacement and recovering. Many pieces that are brought to Doc's have a family story of who had it first and how it became a treasured part of the family. Let Doc's family help continue that story with the personal touch many of these pieces need, or start your own story with that piece of furniture that someone in your family has used. It starts with a simple phone call or e-mail Visit our showroom in Belvidere to see our selection of over 10,000 fabric, vinyl & leather options. Our Interior Designer works with you explaining the differences in types and quality of fabrics. Once your fabric is selected, Doc's Upholstery offers free pick-up and delivery service, so we come get your furniture! (25 mile radius of Belvidere) Once here at Doc's Upholstery & Refinishing Shop, all work is done right here, we don't ship out our work, it's completed right here by quality craftsmen. Furniture Re-upholstery is the corner stone of our business. We take great pride in returning your piece of furniture back to it's original look and feel.

      Thank you for all the effort and work put into our chairs. We brought in 2 broken down discards that were stored away for twenty years, and brought home 2 beautiful works of art. I can't wait for my family to see them. Those in my family who snickered and rolled their eyes at my plans to have them redone, will eat their words when they see the transformation.       Doc did a motorcycle seat for me. OUTSTANDING and reasonable. I couldn't be happier. Friendly professional and honest. Highly recommended.
