The Belton ISD operates several elementary, middle and high schools and provides education to more than 8,000 students in kindergarten through grade 12. The district s schools offer educational programs in music, language arts, math, English, science, social studies, physical education and computer technology. The Belton ISD employs a staff of more than 1,200 regular classroom teachers, learning specialists and instructional assistants. Each of its school has a library that provides a variety of books, magazines and reference materials for classroom assignments and projects. The district participates in the National School Lunch Program and offers nutritionally balanced meals for students. Its schools offer a variety of athletic activities, including football, volleyball, basketball, softball, cross-country, and track and field. The Belton ISD is located in Belton, Texas.
