Powers Elementary School provides various educational and extracurricular programs for students in kindergarten through grade two. Its early childhood program is for students who need additional assistance with readiness, motor skills, speech and language. The school has an enrollment of more than 290 students. Its academic curriculum includes classes in a variety of subjects, such as reading, writing, art, arithmetic, social studies, music and physical education. The school operates a library that provides a range of books and reference materials. It has a parent-teacher organization that organizes various programs for supporting the educational process. The school is a part of the Turner School District, which operates elementary, middle and high schools. Powers Elementary School is located in Beloit, Wis.
