Belmont Elementary School has more than 400 students in preschool through grade four. Located in Belmont, N.H., its academic curriculum includes physical education, reading, media and technology, special education, science, English, math, health and social studies. The school provides guidance, media center and food services. It offers classes in fine arts, theater, dramatic performances, puppet shows, music and dance. The school also offers students various co-curricular activities, such as garden club, yearbook, student council, drama, newspaper, computer club, basketball, volleyball and soccer. Its students in third and fourth grade participate in chorus and vocal ensemble. The school has a school store run by fourth graders where students purchase supplies. It has a parent-teacher association that provides planning and implementation of a variety of fundraising activities for the benefit of school.
