Founded in 1973, Trident Seafoods Corporation is a privately held, vertically integrated harvester, processor and marketer of seafood from Alaska, the Pacific Northwest and throughout the world. The company is American-owned and operates offshore processors and shore-side plants throughout Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. Trident products include Alaskan king and snow crab, coldwater shrimp, various breeds of salmon, halibut, ocean perch and cod, Alaskan Pollock and whitefish, flounder and sole. In addition, the company offers a variety of battered and breaded seafood items and a line of surimi seafood products. Trident markets its products under a number of brand names, including SeaLegs, Pub House, Arctic Ice, Seal Alaska, Rubenstein s, Whitney s, Faust, Prelate, Tulip and Lily. Trident Seafoods Corporation is headquartered in Seattle and has a processing plant in Bellingham, Wash.
