Great facility, great trainer, great atmosphere. Rare find.
Country Squire is an amazing all around stable. I have stabled there with my horse Al-Hadiya for a little over 2 years now. The facilities, people, and the horse expert / owner Betty are wonderful. There is a fully enclosed indoor arena that riders of every discipline can enjoy. There is access to many different obstacles including many barrels, jumps, poles, cones, a tarp, a bridge, a standing mail box, a Parrelli pedestal, etc etc etc. The arena is marked for dressage as well, and has sliding doors that open in the summer for a cool breeze. The viewing room is equipped with a tv, microwave, fridge, coffee pot etc. There is a very large outdoor arena, round pen, and the most amazing trails. We can go for a quick 30 min rejuvenation or be gone 5 hrs. Some of the trails are wide and large enough to get going at top speeds. Take one that it flat and easy or adventurous and steep. There are so many to choose from. One leads to Toad Lake as well. They use pellets instead of shavings which pulls the wet waste into them and away from the surface. Stalls are done daily of course. There are automatic water buckets, an INDOOR wash rack, personal and horse lockers, walk through double horse cross ties, and heated bathroom. They feed grain, timothy, hay, and any extra supplements you might want. The pastures are all country white fenced with white electrical wire. Horses are turned out together for natural socialization. I personally like a happy healthy horse and place that is comfortable for me as well thats why I stable at country squire. It is a friendly casual atmosphere. Some of the things to look forward to at Country Squire are dinner parties around the fire; trail ridding with friends; catching a ride with friends for a small gas fee to events like shows, fox hunting, clinics etc. The trainer, Betty, is amazing with horses of every breed. She has worked with me personally for many different disciplines including western pleasure, english, jumping, barrels, desensitizing for trails, parrelli, showmanship, halter, etc. My horse and I both went from green (really green) to earning in the show ring two reserved high points and one high point (Grand Champion) after a year and a half. I could go on and on, but I believe I will run out of room soon. Check it out for yourself. Arrange for a lesson or two to test it out. Its worth the wait if youre looking for a stable to call home.
