I was a returning customer and upon my return I was greeted by a new face at the counter. I was informed that matthew had been fired, and that things were changing. Boy did they. I brought my father and his VW van in to have the shake in the front end checked. He was told that it was the steering rack and it needed to be replaced. The wheels, brakes and bearings were all checked and they were fine. We left two days later the front tire separated at 70 + plus MPH we replaced it with a spare, The shake went away. A hundred miles later the rear tire went flat. upon jacking it up with the emergency brake on we were surprised to find that it turned with little resistance. So the brakes were checked and the wheels were fine? I recommend Mathew not The Pit Stop to anybody that needs work done on their vehicle. I find the honesty and quick service a refreshing change from the other shops I have done business with.

My ABS (Automatic Brake System) light kept coming on in my 15 year old van. Knowing that this is a major part of the Brake System I took it to my Ford dealer to find out what was wrong. I was charged $120 and told that the ABS Pump was failing. It would cost $1000 for the pump and another $700 to install it. I accidentally laughed out loud being slightly sticker shocked at the time. I was advised by a friend to talk to Matthew at Pit Stop Auto Service and Detail Inc. After listening to my story he suggested that I consider using a recycled pump in order to reduce the cost. He ordered the pump (which has a 180 Day/Unlimited Mileage Warranty) and made an appointment with me after it came in. It barely took 2 hours to install it. My final cost was $550 saving me $1150. I am definitely a satisfied customer. Do yourself a favor and go to the Pit Stop Auto Service and Detail and be treated right the first time.

We were new to the area and was a friend of ours referred us to try The Pit Stop. Wow - Matthew and his team are great! We're happy to see that they were not just out to make a quick buck out on expensive or unneeded work - diagnoses were spot on and pricing on the parts and labor were right. We'll be happy to go back for regular maintenance which all cars need.
