  I work with couples in two-hour sessions, and the average divorce mediation (with parenting plan) takes two to three sessions (5-6 hours).

  I give couples worksheets so that between sessions they can gather the information on their assets and liabilities, budgets, and information for completing the child support worksheet.

  The book details way to prepare the children for the day one parents moves out, deals with alimony, support payments, custody, holidays, special occasions, dating, sex and the single parent, as well as the language of "divorce speak."

  Believing that mediation is a much better way to resolve most issues than the traditional adversarial process, Kathleen started her new career in mediation. Since 1994, she has mediated well over 1000 cases, including numerous divorce/legal separations/parenting plans, civil court cases, workplace disputes, and conflicts in families with aging parents

  Business Mediation Disputes between businesses or between individuals over business transactions are now routinely being resolved to everyone's satisfaction through mediation. Mediation is less costly and more time efficient than suing in court, and offers the added benefit of keeping the disputing parties in control of the outcome.
