Pretty sure she knows the game morons! She was an All American, Division 1, softball player and played BASEBALL for the Silver Bullets and also came back and coached at UW for a bit. Hmmmmm....sounds like someone that knows how to play and understands the game quite well. It is also called using different words...keeping things interesting and entertaining while giving you facts on sports. If you want plain news you have the local news to watch. As for her "speech impediment"...give me a break. Hardly noticeable and wow - pretty sure Barbara Walters (who can't even say her own name correctly) is one of the most listened to women in the world.

I think Angie Mentink Rocks! She knows her stuff -- as she was an awesome softball player at UW -- and a good baseball player with the Silver Bullets. FSN has some weak links, but she is not one of them. Some men are threatened by strong women... she is fantastic!

Angie Mentink is the worst sports announcer i've ever seen. why does a person with a mild speech impediment become an on air personality? her "shhh" substitution for the "S" sound is nauseating and insulting to any college speech student."playersh", "shimulataneously", "marinersh"....and on and on...and why the hell is she part of mariners baseball when she so blatantly has NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE GAME!its called batting practice or BP, not "HIT AROUND"!

Angie Mentink is an embarrasment to your station. To use the word 'cra#' twice in one segment is inexcusable. I like to watch Husky games with my grandkids, and her performance is awful. Hire somebody who has some class and is prepared!
