I moved into Emerald Ridge because my company transferred me and I needed to quickly find a place that accepted dogs and was close to work. I wish I had known about this website when I was looking for a place to live.Emerald Ridge is just a terrible awful place to live. There are multiple reasons I would say this. The noise problem would top the list. I constantly was bombarded with noise from neighbors on both sides of me, upstairs neighbors and downstairs neighbors (I had a second floor apt). The noise is usually relentless and literally drove me nuts. I heard everything from television, stereo to yelling arguments and more intimate moments. I've lived in apartments for most of the past ten years. I realize that apartment living will mean tolerating some noise, but this is above and beyond anything I have ever encountered. This place is so poorly constructed that little separates you from your neighbors. There's also noise from the outside. You WILL lose sleep on the weekend. The
I truly hate living at Emerald Ridge. I have a few more months on my lease, and it actually feels like that's how much time I have left to serve my jail sentence. I moved into Emerald Ridge for all the wrong reasons....they gave me a great move-in deal, they allow dogs, and the location seemed convenient. I pay so much for a two bedroom apartment that I actually feel foolish if someone inquires into how much I pay. It's way too much for an apartment of around 900 square feet. The noise issues simply cannot be resolved. . People party and yell and rev their car engines at all hours. Auto burglarly is common. It's so dark at night that I'm afraid to walk down to the mailboxes for my mail. Parking is a ral issue. Friends and family will not..again WILL NOT..have anyplace within a reasonable distance if they visit you on the weekends or in the evenings after 6p or so.Office management is simply rude and uncaring. Find a place you can call HOME! This isn't home, it's HELL!
I lived in Emerald Ridge for two awful years. There are so many problems that I don't know where to begin. The noise problem is incredible. Cars and people at all hours of the night. Security is a joke. Office staff are unresponsive and if you complain or report anything, they will label you and things just get worse. The parking situation is absolutely terrible. I often have to park on the street and walk up an unlit hill late at night. My car is vulnernable to all types of burglary or vandalism. Serveral cars are broken into each month.Just do yourself a big favor. There are better apartments to be found in Bellevue at a much better value. These dinky poorly constructed apartments are not worth the rent they charge.
