Parents Beware! My son attended La Petite for 18 months. The center has a flea infestation, which they reported to the St. Clair Co. Health Dept.( I called them myself) on 8/10. Parents received a letter on 8/13 stating the center would not be treated until the night of the 14th. They are still watching kids though; wouldn't want to miss out on money. They'll be open a week before treating the problem while still caring for kids!! Fortunately, my son is staying with family; I feel for those parents without any other options. My son had dried blood on his legs when I picked him up a month ago. No one noticed or cleaned him up. Fortunately, the blood was his. He also had 2 separate days when he had dried poop on the back of his shirt. Again, no one noticed or cleaned it up. I reported it to the teacher and assistant director, but they were pretty nonchalant about it even after I pointed out the potential health risk and exposure
