Unfortunately, the gas station is manned by teenagers, whom have not yet actually drank coffee themselves, and therefore don't give any priority to keeping the brew running, or keeping the half-and-half dispenser filled, etc.Back at the cash register, the teenagers are not familiar with customer service. It can get pretty distasteful, being treated as if you're really bothersome for wanting to make a purchase. Basic lack of understanding about providing customer service.I think they should go out of business now, and put themselves out of their misery.By the way, there's also a Lykens in Port Matilda. Full, competent service. Gas prices often a couple of cents less than State College average. Occasionally some hot food available there, like breakfast sandwiches or fried wings. Refill your propane tank.

I've been shopping at Lykens at least once a day for most of 2007. I get a fountain soda in a UniMart "Jug" which holds 34 oz. and another "Jug" with just ice (which I use for water at work). I've been charged 89 cents for this soda and nothing for the ice since I use my own container. Today, August 23, I'm charged 99 cents by the "guy" who said he'll staightened out the other clerks. After leaving, another customer overhears him commenting to another clerk "the balls of that woman". Excuse me, but he's the one with the balls - why give me an attitude now after having been a regular customer. I don't just buy sodas there, I also get gas, milk, lottery tickets, etc. And if this is the attitude I'm getting, I'd rather go elsewhere. I've already changed from UniMart, obviously, because I liked Lykens better and it's more convenient. But if this is Lykens' customer service, I'm rethinking my habits. It's not like I'm going to put them out of business by cheating them out of 10 cents/day.
