The Padua Pediatrics Residential Program is a residential program for medically fragile children up to 25 years. Its active treatment services include 24-hour nursing and custodial care, developmental training, and consultative psychological, physical, occupational, and speech therapies. It provides educational programs through The Plaquemines Parish School System. The Padua Pediatrics Residential Program is administered by the Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans, which was incorporated in 1938 and is one of the largest health and human service providers in the Gulf South. It operates more than 50 programs. The Padua Pediatrics Residential Program is located in Belle Chasse, La.
