In addition, City of Bell Gardens Recreation and Community Services Department organizes numerous contests, tournaments and special events. the department offers sports activities that include billiards, football and ping pong. The Bell Gardens Recreation and Community Services Department includes a senior citizen's center that hosts cultural activities and exercise and nutrition programs, as well as organizes field trips and dance shows.
