I have been a Northern Chesapeake Insurance customer for a little over 2 years now. They provide me with exceptional insurance and customer service. Amy and Chip go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with my insurance choices and are always extermely friendly when I call!! I always speak to a real person who is more than willing to help me with my insurance needs. I feel like I matter to them as a client. They work very hard to get me the best value on my insurance and inform me of possible ways to reduce my premiums at certain points during the year. Hat's off to Northern Chesapeake Insurance!!!! Not only did NCIS save us THOUSANDS of dollars having two young male drivers and giving us better overall coverage, when we needed them after Hurricaine Irene I was on the phone talking to my agent at 7a.m. and her words to me: "don't worry, you are covered and we will get it all fixed"...Jessica is always there for any question and we never have to worry about anything. I highly recommend this agency for all your insurance needs!
I am a single mom with three young drivers in my household. I made one call to NCIS and Kevin was able to find me a great rate with a reputable insurance company. He saved me hundreds of dollars on my home and auto insurance. The service was unbeatable. I highly recommend them!
Chip, the owner of NCIS, is both my neighbor and insurance agent for over 6 years. I think Ive had almost every possible insurance he offers, including Home Owners, Renters, Auto, Life and umbrella with the following insurers: Travelers, Kemper, SafeCo, Banner Life and have nothing but positive things to say about Chip. I couldnt ask for a better agent, hes provided round the clock responses to my e-mails/texts (even while on vacation), and followed through start to finish on my two claims. In addition to his experience and responsiveness, a key reason Ive stayed with Chip so long is he is an insurance broker not just an agent, so when my current insurer raises my rates, which has happened a couple times, he just shops for a better rate and switches me to a new insurance company. I guess insurance is one of those necessary evils and it makes it a little easier making those payments knowing they are the lowest available and the coverage is correct.
Chip is an attentive and well-informed agent. He always has our best interest at heart, and works to get us the best coverage at the best rates. We thought our other "cheap" company was the best rate, and he was able to run a free quote for us, and got us a lower rate with BETTER coverage, customized to our needs! We have both our home and auto coverage through NCIS, and have been extremely satisfied customers. Truly a full-service insurance broker!
I highly recommend them. My family and I have everything from car to boat to homeowners insurance through them and they have saved us hundreds of dollars. On top of that, the customer service that they provide is top of the line!!!
As a newly single woman and mom on my own for the first time in 20 years, searching for insurance....the right insurance...was a pretty overwhelming task for me. A friend gave me the number for Northern Chesapeake Insurance and the owner's name, Chip Schilling. To be honest, I wasn't looking forward to talking to yet another over eager insurance agent that was just happy to have a voice on the other end of the line to sell any package they could to. Chip set me at ease right away and sympathized with the anxiety of choosing the right policy for me. He took time to go over every detail, answering questions I had along the way. (And believe me, I had a lot of them!) He explained what was important to have in a policy that would fit my needs and also what "extras" I didn't need. How refreshing! I finally felt like someone was looking out for MY best interest and not their own! I highly recommend Northern Chesapeake Insurance and thank them for the service I received.

Was able to make one phone call and they did all of the shopping for me. Easy transaction...handled much of the transaction via phone and email. They saved me a significant amount of money and the service was top notch! I would highly recommend giving this place a call if you are looking to compare your insurance rates.

Nice people, great service, and had excellent rates!! Hard to find all of that in one spot these days! Very happy I found them. Highly recommend this agency.
