In some cases we take charge in the overall management of Osteoporosis or we may refer the patient back to their primary care provider, if they prefer. - Smoking CessationSmoking Cessation - Cigarette smoking was first identified as a risk factor for Osteoporosis more than 20 years ago. Studies have shown a direct relationship between tobacco use and decreased bone density. The best thing smokers can do to protect their bones is to quit smoking. Assisting patients with smoking cessation resources is key.

While first working in a community health center and then in a Nurse Practitioner-run family practice, she quickly realized that social determinants of health along with their mental health can directly impact a person’s physical health.
- Emergency CareIf a medical problem is such that you must be seen on an urgent basis, we will make every attempt to see you. If your problem cannot wait, we suggest that you go to the closest emergency room. One of our physicians is available 24 hours per day. Please advise the ER that you are one of our patients and they will consult us as needed.

- MRI• MRI: When diagnostic imaging services are provided in an office setting, the patient can save up to 50% versus having them done in many acute care/ hospital settings.
- Radiology• Interventional Radiology Procedures: Patients will often pay a high deductible and co-insurance to have these done on an outpatient basis at a hospital or surgical center. Here in the office, the patient is often only responsible for their normal copay. Not only do you save money but the procedure is performed in a convenient and efficient office setting.

- Minimally Invasive SurgeryWe want to introduce you to the first spine focused Ambulatory Surgery Center in New England. We have collaborated with other renowned Spine specialists to make this state of the art facility a one of a kind. Minimally Invasive Surgery Center of New England is located on the first floor of our Bedford, NH facility. The center has everything a hospital has to offer but with all of the amenities of a surgery center.
- NeurosurgeryOne-on-one care The nursing staff is dedicated to your after-procedure recovery. The staff is trained and specializes in spine and neurosurgery procedures. Their focus is on you, rather then 5 or 6 patients at a time.

- Sports MedicineObtain any applicable diagnostic films and reports (ie. x-rays, MRI, CT scan, bone scans, discograms, EMG's) or confirm that we can obtain them electronically prior to your appointment. For the convenience of our patients, we have a special service arranged with the local hospitals (Access Sports Medicine, Androscoggin Valley Hospital, Catholic Medical Center, Concord Hospital, Elliot Hospital, Holy Family Hospital, Southern NH Medical Center and St. Joseph's Hospital). If we are given at least 48 hours notice, we can have any of your studies transmitted directly to our office from the above listed hospitals. If your studies were performed elsewhere you will need to bring a copy of the films or CD to your appointment.
- Physical Therapy• Our Next Step Program: A physical therapy program designed for patients with high copays and limited physical therapy benefits or patients with no insurance at all. This program gives patients the opportunity to utilize the expertise of a physical therapist while in our gym setting, and without incurring the cost of a standard therapy visit.
- Manual TherapyIncludes hands-on joint and soft-tissue mobilization, massage therapy, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy and a number of other advanced techniques.
