I went to the Raleigh County Landfill today because it was free. I wanted to help my family and neighbors by hauling large items for them because it was free. I was told by Mr George Bragg that I can only use my truck to help myself. If I help my family and neighbors using my truck I would have to pay the going rate even if I wasn't charging them. I feel that everyone has the right to use the free day but not everyone has a truck to go to the landfill. He said they should have trash pickup and they do have trash pick up.?"I think the last chance store at the landfill is a good idea but things should be price so everyone would be treated the same. I feel I am not being treated the same as others. They have the time to price each item but they choose to read the paper or balance their checkbook I know that people at the landfill is taking things that should be sold in their store. The store can be a blessing to the community it done right and save the landfill space and money.
