The Heartland of Beckley offers skilled nursing, rehabilitation and treatment of Alzheimer's disease. The center has a team of rehabilitation therapists that includes physical, occupational and speech therapists. It has an activity department that supports and conducts more than 100 recreational activities and programs. The Heartland of Beckley is owned and operated by HCR Manor Care, which is one of the leading providers of short-term, post-acute medical care and rehabilitation, as well as long-term skilled nursing care services. HCR Manor Care operates more than 275 skilled Medicare- and Medicaid-certified nursing centers. In addition, it owns over 50 treatment and assisted living centers for patients who suffer from Alzheimer's disease. The Heartland of Beckley is located in Beckley, W.Va.
