The hotel itself was OK, and the breakfast above average. However, geting there from the interstate was made problematic by a traffic trap. A light or two before turning onto the property is road space that isn't a legal lane (though it sure looks like one at night). When we found ourselves in the lane, and tried to turn out of it, we got instantly pulled over by a cop. We got cited for 'improper lane change'. We asked around about it, and the locals told us 'sure, it's a trap. You got pulled over because you didn't have WVA plates'. Nice. So unless you want to chance a ticket, DON"T STAY IN BECKLEY WVA
