We recently had our house painted by Mike Clifton Painting. In addition to the painting, we needed approximately 25 warped cedar boards replaced, as well as trim around two windows that showed signs of dry rot. They did a beautiful job with the cedar and window trim replacement, and the caulking and paint came out really nice as well. Mike was very easy to communicate with, always returned my calls or e-mails, and called and kept me up to date on each stage of the progress. Mike was at the house each day, and his crew was professional and did a great job. His price was very fair. I would not hesitate to recommend Mike. We've been in our current house 16 years, and this is the third time we've had it painted. They did the best job, by far.

Mike Clifton was very friendly and professional during the whole process of painting our home's exterior. He did everything he said he would on the bid and more. He was here when he said he would be, was punctual and finished on time. I couldn't ask for a better quality end result. Our house looks almost brand new. Highly recommend!
Mike and his crew are excellent! They do great work, are very helpful and thorough. The did painting both the outside of the house (fully) and a small amount of indoor painting and both jobs were perfect. They did some minor repair work and it was excellent. They also painted my deck with a new product called "Shark Skin" and it looks great. Time will tell how it weathers. I can't imagine a better company for house painting!

After purchasing a home, we needed to update the interior. We asked Mike and his team to paint every room in the house. He not only did an amazing job, but he helped to fix the baseboards that the flooring guys beat up which went above what he did for us. In addition, I asked him to paint all of the cabinets in the kitchen....what an amazing job! We now have a total new kitchen! He did all of this work within his quote with a 10 days TAT. Because of this great job, we asked him to come back to powerwash our house and stain our deck and trim. He fit his into his very busy schedule, came back after 1 week and power washed our house and deck, stained the very large deck and painted all the trim on the house in one day. I would highly recommend Mike Clifton for any painting needs. He is an amazing and talented professional!

I needed an interior painting job done within 4 days. Mike gave me a personal quote (which was very reasonable) and finished the job before my deadline. The work was very well done and the house looks amazing!

Mike Clifton Painting, Inc. painted the outside of my house and later came back and painted my downstairs and stairwell on the inside. Mike, himself, came out and gave me an estimate for each job. His prices were very reasonable and significantly less than other estimates that I had received. He did exactly what he said he would do in the estimates. There were no unwelcome surprises. The quality of the work was excellent, and he simply is an incredibly nice guy to work with. It is my intention to have him back to do some additional painting in the upstairs portion of my house. I am very pleased with everything he did.

Mike and his team did an excellent job painting the interior and exterior of our house. They were timely, affordable, and professional. They took great care in the preparatory work and when finished, they nicely vacuumed and put everything back in its original place. We are very pleased with the results; the paint makes our house look like new. We would definitely recommend Mike Clifton Painting, and if the need arises, we would use them again.

After a thorough research of painting contractors and local recommendations we selected Mike Clifton Painting to paint the exterior of our home. We were not disappointed. I can join in with the other people who reviewed Mike on this page and also rate him the highest at 5 stars. This extends to all phases of the process - from initial contact to job finish - professional in all aspects and detail. Based on our experience we would use Mike and his crew again and highly recommend them to anyone considering any painting project.
If you need someone to come in and do a professional paint job using quality paint at a very good price - Mike Clifton is your man! He does interior and exterior work and when I needed interior painting done in my vaulted living room and dining room I asked a friend if she knew of a painter - she recommended Mike. I'd been getting painting bids but Mike's was, by far, the best price! He'll move furniture if needed and in my case he helped me choose my colors which were a 'tuscan gold' color - looks so beautiful with my new 'cranberry' colored drapes. I love it!!! - B. We had the pleasure of working with Mike and his crew on our home in Beaverton. He understood right away that we were on a budget but needed the entire interior of our home including doors painted before our move in date. He consulted with us for free on color choices and design features that included a custom chair rail painted and installed in our dining room that looks fantastic. Our living room has a two story cathedral ceiling with skylights and even with all that light it's hard to find any flaws in the finished work. There was a large amount of prep work as the home had been neglected before it went back to the bank. Mike and his crew saw to all the details and came in exactly on budget. We have a 2500 sq ft, 2 story with high eaves. Mike's painting and prep was extraordinary. Mike and his team were skilled craftsman with great attention to detail. Mike Clifton is an excellent painter. He did some great work for my mom on the exterior of her home (old home with wood that was in pretty bad shape) and he was so meticulous (unlike many most contractors). For my home, we had some interior work done with the same great results.
