By husband wanted to put up a client for a week because of some work being done on her house. Extended Stay America sounded like a good place. The person went to bed at around 11:00pm in the evening on the first night of lodging and starting itching shortly after. Long story short, took off all the blankets and sheets and found bed bugs in bedded in the pad under the sheet. Took pictures on her my cell phone and called the night clerk, which sounded somewhat irritated. The person asked the clerk if they had any problems with bed bugs in the room she was staying in and the clerk answered "not in that room". They told the clerk the problem of bed bugs and that they were leaving immediately. The clerk said they would not reimburse them if the staff did not find bed bugs. She asked that someone come to the room right then and the night clerk declined. The guest left immediately. The room itself was nice.
