The Public Works Department is operated by the City of Beaumont, Texas, which also maintains human resources, public health, information technology, finance and fire departments. The department administers the city s street, drainage and transportation systems by providing planning, design and maintenance services. The Public Works Department also directs the operations of the Beaumont Municipal Airport and Transit Systems.
