Recently my DVD unit stopped recording. I checked with the Sylvania factory and was told that given the error message, the fix was to either clean or adjust the recording lens. To my regret, I took it to Leo's because his ad said he worked on DVDs.I should have been alarmed when he insisted on a $35.00 "deposit" and the fact that he didn't take credit cards but I'm a trusting sort so I left it with him. Two days later he called to tell me that the problem was that I could record only "one time" on this particular unit. When I picked it up he also said the lens could not be adjusted and would have to be replaced. He didn't seem to understand that I had previously used RW discs with success and the factory disagreed about the ability to adjust the lens. In short, he charged me $35.00 to tell me that he had no idea how to fix the machine. He is not only incompetent he also has no sense of business ethics.

doesn't know what he's doing if you want you're T.V fixed don't go to leo.

took my tv to leo a month ago to fix a problem with the screen he brought it back 3 days latter and 2 days after that my tv wouldn't work at all once i called him back he said it would be no problem and he would take care of it well 3 weeks latter he tells me he cant fix it unless i give him more money for a new part well i didn't think that was fare so i told him no and he said that he wouldn't bring my tv back to me for free. I should of known something was wrong when he showed up at my house the first time and told me he couldn't give me a receipt showing that he was taking my tv once i told him he couldn't take it without one he magically found his receipt book in his van then when he was loading my 55inch wide screen HD TV he laid it on the front shield and when i questioned him about it he said thats how he always does it. Well finally after he argued with my husband for a while he agreed to bring back the tv instead of fixing it.
