Sam's Point Fire Station provides fire protection, rescue and first response services for medical emergencies. It is a part of the Lady's Island - St. Helena Fire District, which serves an area of more than 120 square miles and a population of over 20,000 people. The district maintains a team of more than 60 firefighters and support staff members. Established in 1972, the Lady's Island - St. Helena Fire District offers fire, search and rescue and extrication services. It is a member of the National Fluid Power Association, Standard Southern Building Code Books, South Carolina Firemen's Association and Beaufort County Fire Chief's Association. Sam's Point Fire Station is located in Lady's Island, S.C.
