Dr. Winters is WONDERFUL! I spent a fortune at my dog's previous vet and they could not figure out what was wrong with her. After hearing good things about Dr. Winters, I took my dog to see him. He knew right away what her problem was. He's VERY knowledgeable and AFFORDABLE. LOVE HIM!!

I have lost three dogs and Dr. Winters is the only vet that has ever sent me a handwritten note expressing heartfelt sympathy that truly touched me and meant the world to me. He has taken wonderful care of all our animals, dogs and cats which he has seen since the first month he opened his doors. Sharon and Jennifer are very supportive as well. The care is excellent, the charges are more than reasonable and Dr. Winters follows through and cares.

I can't recommend this vet enough. He is knowledgable, not afraid of large dogs, and charges fair price for only necessary treatments. It is unfortunate that we have to leave due to military orders because this is by far the best vet experience we have ever had.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Winters and his staff. They are so caring and compasionite. I am on a fixed budget and try to manage with my pets. If Dr. Winters and staff were not here, my pets would not even be getting any care. Because of his kindness, I can take my pets there and make sure that they are cared for because he truly cares for the animals and he does not overcharge. In fact, he fairly-and most times undercharges- every other vet around here- which is why he is in such demand. All of the other vets in this small town price gouge and most people here cannot afford even minimal care for their precious animals. On top of this, he is so smart. He's an exceptional doctor and all of us pet parents love him! Thank God for Dr. Winters and his staff!

Disappointed. Really wanted to go to this vet since our current vet is just to expensive. Saw the great reviews and heard amazing things from numerous people. I called to get my dog in same day because I believed he had a bladder infection and they turned me away. They said the soonest they could see him was in 6 weeks! And gave me a number to a different vet! Saw the reviews and know people first hand that had emergencies and got in same day.

I know it is hard to believe all the great things everyone is saying about Dr. Winters, but believe it! I have a cat how was injured, I took him to a vet in Port Royal, after over $500.00 in bills, he was getting worse. Someone recommended Dr. Winters to my husband and we are so grateful they did. It cost us less than $100.00 and Bogey is doing great now. When it was time to put our other cat down, Patches, the whole staff was wonderful and caring. I will never had such wonderful things to say about any vet.

Outstanding vet! I cannot praise his services more. Highly recommended!

My only negative is that he's not a full service Veterinarian. I love him though, and his staff. They are very thorough, and every single time I've called with a problem, they were able to get me in the same day. Wonderful wonderfil wonderful!!!

Dr. Winters is terrific--very honest and very caring. He has saved me hundreds of dollars and given my dog wonderful care. This is one great vet!

I LOVE this vet. He is way cheaper than many of the vets in Beaufort. (Way better than the Animal Hospital of Beaufort.) I am retired military dependent and the base vet actually recommended this place. When our Mastiff died they were very compassionate and allowed us to stay with our dog as long as we wanted after she had passed. I can't say enough nice things about him. Before that, he did 3 surgeries on her and only charged us $150.00!! I hope someone reads this review before suffering the overcharged fees of the Animal Hospital of Beaufort.

One outstanding vet! I have a feral cat that had an issue with his eyes. I took him to another vet that basically just gave up and said I would have to see an eye specialist. Luckily, I took him to Dr. Winters and he diagnosed the issue immediately....I mean as soon as he walked thru the door! He did the surgery for the cat at a VERY affordable price and the results were outstanding! I have always had lots of companion animals and have been to more vets then I can remember. I cannot recommend Dr. Winters enough.....He really is a cut above the rest.
