      The BEST In The BIZ

      There is only one bonding company in Carteret Co and it is Brown & Swain. They are the only honest and helpful people in the business. Trusted for over 20 years and it shows. So kind, caring, and easy to work with. My praises go to them!

      NOT UP FRONT WITH JUDICIAL SYSTEM

      This Bonding Co., surely isn't up front with the Judicial System, and apparently can be bought. They posted the bond of an Illegal Alien on 2-1-07, on a Bigamy charge, who was out on bond from the federal gov't for deportation. When I advised the owner that this man was an illegal, he said he wasn't concerned, as he had a co-signor. When he was advised his client had suppossedly left the country after being ordered to deport to either Canada or Lebanon, and he should advise the judge that his client had left the country, so a warrant could be issued, and he could be held the next time he was seen, he wasn't happy with this suggestion. I learned that Jim Andrews co-signed the bond, and when he died a couple of months ago, I took him the obituary, his comment was "guess I'll have to file a claim against his estate". I just shook my head and left. He like some of the local attorneys, including the DA's office evidently were paid well to do nothing. The bigamy has been continued reg
