Beatrice High School, a part of Beatrice Public Schools, offers educational and extracurricular programs for children from grades eight through 12. Beatrice High enrolls more than 700 students annually, and has a fully equipped computer laboratory and library. The school s curriculum includes mathematics, English, science, foreign languages, history, geography, economics, physical education, phonics, music, and arts and crafts. It regularly organizes an array of social events, such as musical concerts, alumni banquet, donkey basketball game and field day. Beatrice High s extracurricular activities include knowledge bowl, family, career and community leaders of America organization, junior-senior banquet, senior trips, state fine arts and academic competitions, band and choir concerts, and National Honor Society. Located in Beatrice, Neb., the school offers a number of sports programs, such as girl s and boy s basketball, cheerleading, baseball, tennis, badminton, swimming, soccer and softball.
