Fun, engaging, a great workout, and a genuine interest in your personal progress. Having tried a number of martial arts in the past, I've found my true niche in the Chinese-style wushu taught here. For more than seven years I've maintained a healthy exercise life at the school as well as outside of it. Most importantly, I learned how to properly exercise. Whenever I tried on my own, I'd either pull something or just not do enough on my own. Here, I was given instructions on how to be fit without the use of equipment in the areas of cardio, strength, and flexibility training. Kung-Fu is by far the most fun, learning weapons like straight-sword, spear, staff, as well the various empty-handed animal forms. Instructors are willing to help you 'catch up' if you miss a few weeks with free private lessons. Wii Fit is good, but this is truly great fitness.
