Beachwood High School is a four-year college preparatory high school with an enrollment of more than 500 students. It offers classes from kindergarten grades nine through 12 and is governed by Beachwood City School District. It offers a wide range of subjects, including English, math, science, history, social science, visual and performing arts, vocational education, consumer science, physical education and elective options. The school provides specialty programs that includes Asian studies curriculum focusing on the language, literary, social and political culture of Japan and China. Beachwood High School offers various extracurricular activities, and also provides lunch services. It additionally offers a variety of athletic programs, such as football, tennis, volleyball, golf, ice hockey, basketball, soccer and softball. Located in Beachwood, Ohio, the school has a fully equipped library, a media center and computer lab.
