Toms River Intermediate South School serves students in grades six through eight and is a part of Toms River Regional Schools. It employs a staff of trained teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, counselors and speech therapists. The school organizes family nights, music concerts and talent shows. Toms River Intermediate South School provides programs in Spanish, art, instrumental music and physical education. It features a media center that maintains a collection of educational software, reference materials, and fiction and nonfiction books. Toms River Intermediate South School supports a range of athletic activities, such as cross country, field hockey, wrestling, soccer, basketball, softball, and track and field.
