- We specialize in pre-school gym, girls gymnastics, boys gymnastics, tumbling, acrobatics and competition teams. We also offer fitness programs for tots, kids, teens & adults through our Athletics In Motion (AIM) program. Classes in ballet, tap and jazz are available through Baytown Dance Company (BDC), located within our facility. TAAG also has started a recreational cheer program.

We are here to build Strength in the body, Knowledge in the mind, and Courage in the heart through the practice of gymnastics. Our staff are friendly, experienced, and highly qualified professionals. Our coaches are Safety Certified by USA Gymnastics. TAAG coaches follow a developmental skill curriculum based on age appropriate progressions. Anna Smirnova is the owner of Texas Academy of Acrobatics & Gymnastics, and head coach of the TAAG acrobatics and gymnastics teams. She obtained her masters degree in Physical Education & Sports from the Russian State Academy of Physical Culture in Moscow, Russia, in 1997. Anna is also a certified fitness instructor in weight-lifting, as well as step, dance & fitball aerob...ics. In addition to over 14 years of teaching and coaching experience, Anna has a very diverse and impressive competitive resume in both gymnastics and acrobatics, including: •1997 World Champion in Acrobatic Gymnastics - Gold •1996 World Champion in Acrobatic Gymnastics - Gold, Silver, & Bronze •1996 All-Around European Champion in Acrobatic Gymnastics - 2 Gold, Silver, & Bronze Anna is a professional member of USAG Gymnastics and is fluent in Russian, French and English.
