I hired a law firm for a case and Mr. Coppin appeared on their behalf. He misrepresented himself as my lawyer in court and literally assisted the other side of the case against me. I felt beyond betrayed. I found out after the fact that he should have never appeared in court without my permission. My opinion is that this attorney and his associate lied to the Grievance committee to defend the complaint filed against them. Neither Mr. Coppin or his associate had a signed retainer agreement and I lost a large sum of money and received nothing in return. I am writing this so that something like this doesn't happen to anyone else.
