The School of Music was founded in 1996 by Dr. David Doig who holds a Doctorate in music performance. Private lessons are tailored to fit the individual needs of every student. Lessons are available in your home , in my studio, or via Skype. The school provides performance opportunities in both formal and informal settings. The school has helped hundreds of students improve their musical skills. Lessons are available for students of all ages! Gift Certificates are available for music lessons. Discounts are available and "specials" include free instruments with the purchase of 10 private lessons (visit the website for details). Study directly with a master teacher-recording artist-business owner who cares about your progress! Beginning-Professional level Private Musical Instruction for students of all ages. Private lessons are available for the following instruments: Acoustic Guitar Electric Guitar Bass Guitar Piano Keyboard Clarinet Flute Saxophone Violin Trumpet Banjo Mandolin All lessons are taught by Dr. David Doig. Lessons are available in the privacy of your home. Lessons take place each week at the same time. Contact David to schedule a time slot. Lessons at the studio take place in large, well equipped air conditioned rooms. Each studio is equipped with a grand piano and a computer. Student performances are presented in December-August. The school features preparation for College auditions and NYSSMA. Students may receive College credit for private lessons with Dr. Doig. Student may receive "extra help" via 24/7 access to the studio through the studio website! Gift Certificates are available and make great presents.
