Bayard High School, a part of Bayard Public Schools, offers educational and extracurricular programs for children from grades eight through 12. Located in Bayard, Neb., the school enrolls more than 300 students annually, and has a fully equipped computer laboratory and library. Its curriculum includes mathematics, English, science, foreign languages, history, geography, economics, physical education, music, and arts and crafts. Bayard High offers an array of extracurricular activities, including knowledge bowl, junior-senior banquet, senior trips, state fine arts and academic competitions, band and choir concerts, and National Honor Society. The school regularly organizes an array of social events, such as musical concerts, alumni banquet, donkey basketball game and field day. It provides a number of sports programs, such as girl s and boy s basketball, cheerleading, baseball, tennis, badminton, swimming, soccer and softball.
