Bay Village Recreation Department, located in Bay Village, Ohio, offers a diverse number of activities to people of all ages to learn new skills. The department coordinates all city-sponsored recreational activities, programs and facilities within Bay Village. It also works closely with sports related clubs, such as the soccer club, men's club baseball, and the girls softball club to coordinate facility use and program schedules. The department s parks and recreation commission serves as an advisory board to the director. It is comprised of a total of eight members, including six citizens, one school board representative and one city council representative. Both the recreation director and commission members are appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the city council.
