I went to this er for allergic reaction to hives and joint pains that were very serious. The triage nurse told me why didn't you just take benadryl . Im like it seems more serious. The doctor seen me and says oh you just having an allergic reaction and gives me two benadryl and 2 prednisone and discharges me. No iv, no blood work , no test whatever or a prescription .The next day im back in the er with joint pain all over my body and the hives even worse than before . This time I get a prescription of prednisone and a shot of benadryl i assume. The next day im in er again cause the hives has gotten to my lips and my chest is hurting but its at the gulfport hospital , The doctor there takes blood , relieves the symptoms right away with a shot and steroid shots and keeps me in observation for atleast 4 or 5 hours and he atleast try to do something.I havent even gotten to the lack of professional ethics and how rude the staff are at hancock medical center. I seen animals at a veterinarian get treated better and I know some of you can agree with that . The staff will even threaten to call the police on you cause you feel like you are not getting quality care . How do you think it feels when you are suffering and it seems like no one is listening to you and they got their own diagnosis made up and then to have the police come to your room while you are seeking treatment. I cant recommend this hospital to anyone who cares for a love one and thats the truth . I filed a complaint against them and still working on some more with reviews on every place I can put them for this disaster of a hospital.
