Welcome to Lumi re Ballet Long Island's Premi re Academy of Professional Dance Training Performing Company As cultural and spiritual heirs of the Russian Imperial Ballet, Svetlana Caton-Noble and Venti Petrov founded Lumi re Ballet Co., Inc in 1995 as a not-for-profit arts organization under code 501 (c) (3). TRAINING PROGRAM includes male and female Ballet Technique, Pointe, Variations, Partnering, Character Dance, Classical and Contemporary Repertoire. The Lumi re Ballet syllabus encompasses the French, Italian and Russian schools, which are contained in the universally recognized methods (Cecchetti, Preobrajenskaya, Legat and Vaganova). As our students are immersed in the study of classical ballet and character dance, lectures and field trips expose them to other art forms such as music, drama, painting, literature... For many the study of ballet leads to a life long passion and a career goal, to many others it brings cultural enrichment, better physical appearance and assurance.
