Located in Bay City, Mich., the company is involved in the collection, processing, resale and trade of ferrous and nonferrous scrap. It offers services, such as scrap management, logistics, transportation, environmental compliance and brokerage/trading. In addition to ferrous/nonferrous products, the company provides aluminum alloys. A subsidiary of Steel Dynamics Inc., OmniSource Corporation carries out its operations through more than 70 scrap collection/processing facilities located in the United States.
