I had braces for 2 years. My teeth were beautiful after having them, so I cannot thanks Great Lakes Family Dental enough. Unfortunately, after paying thousands of dollars for my orthodontics, I called Great Lakes Family Dental today after five years of having the same retainer, which happens to be broken. I still wear it every night because my teeth tend to shift, so it is definitely a necessesity for me. You'd think that after paying all that money just to have nice teeth Great Lakes Family Dental might fix your cheap plastic retainer for free. This is not the case. $60 for top, $60 for bottom no matter how disgusting, old, and broken it may be. When I initially had my braces removed they said that if it was broken, they'd fix it. I guess times have changed? Unfortunate and misleading.
